COACHES NEEDED FOR BASKETBALL, SOCCER & BASEBALL

Interested coaches are welcomed at all levels. Without adult involvement, these youths may not experience the excitement of team competition. ASEP training will be available to all coaches. All head coaches are required to take this course. For more info, call the Recreation Supervisor at (847) 297-3000, ext 22.

A.S.E.P. (American Sport Education Program)

ASEP is committed to improving amateur sport by encouraging coaches, officials, administrators, parents, and athletes to embrace the 'athletes first, winning second' philosophy and by providing the education to put the philosophy to work.  Volunteer coaches will be certified in the sport they coach through and online exam they will take.  Upon passing the exam they will be members of the National Coaches Registry which is a is a comprehensive listing of coaches who have taken ASEP courses and obtained ASEP certifications.
